Peep is an NGO, wich has been working sice 2005 among the Paniya tribe who are settled in Wayanad, Malappuram, Kannur and Kozhikkode districts of Kerala. The tribe population of Kerala, merely comes to 1.15 percentage of the total population of the state. Amoung them Paniyas are the largest and the most backward tribe with population of 89,000. The total population depends on agriculture and plantation labour for their livelihood.

To make aware the tribal people about alcoholism and drugs PEEP conducts street plays throughout colonies. The play is prepared in their language, and all participants are from that community.
